We call project to all the necessary initiatives carried out to achieve an innovative product, service or process, applicable in one or more agents in the Ports and Logistics community, once the proof of concept and its applicability has been tested in at least one port or ports and logistics agent and its technology readiness level is equal or superior to 3.

Projects in pre-commercialization phase:

the projects will have a sufficient readiness level to be considered in pre-commercialization phase when, having positively tested the proof of concept, the product, Service or process is in level 3, 4, 5 and 6, and its validation can be carried out in the Ports and Logistics environment. The expected outcome is the positive validation in real environment or achieving level 7 of technology readiness.

To the projects in pre-commercialization phase, it will be possible to finance up to 60% of the costs associated in the budget of the project to the component of innovation, with a maximum limit of ONE MILLION EUROS (EUR 1.000.000,00), and the possibility of accessing the services of incubation-acceleration established in the territorial headquarters of the incubator-accelerator associated to the Fund. Projects that involve the allocation of less than FIFTY THOUSAND EUROS (EUR 50,000) will not be considered.

Projects in commercialization phase:

the projects will have a sufficient readiness level to be considered in commercialization phase when their technology readiness level is equal or superior to 7. The resulting product, process or service should be mature enough to be commercialized at large scale, even internationally.

It will be possible to finance up to 80% of the costs associated in the project budget to the innovation component with a maximum limit of TWO MILLION EUROS (EUR 2,000,000.00), and the possibility of accessing the acceleration services established in the territorial headquarters of the incubator-accelerator associated with the Fund. Projects will not beconsidered if they involve the allocation of less than ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND EUROS (EUR 100,000). The amounts of aid must additionally comply with the conditions and limits laid down in Regulation (EU) No 651/2014 in order to be exempted from the notification requirement laid down in Article 108(3) of the Treaty.
