The final test of the C.241 project, called “GUIDEME”, financed by the Ports 4.0 Fund of Puertos del Estado, is successfully carried out in the port of Barcelona, as a facilitating agent. GUIDEME is a digital platform for real-time management and optimization of the flow of cruise passengers in the visited cities that transforms and improves the information and processes of the activities related to cruise traffic and tourism in ports and cities through the application of GPS technology, AI, Big Data, data analysis and Blockchain, managing to optimize the overall flow of passengers at the entrance and exit of the port, proposing tourists personalized itineraries to visit the city and increasing the quality of the visit and avoiding agglomerations. Likewise, the tool stores information collected on the movements and patterns of users that can help the decision making of industry agents to make predictions and improve the commercial, logistical and cultural offer and, ultimately, to influence the flow of people passing through the city.
