General ideas

COMMERCIAL PROJECT 2.04: PORT CLEARANCE PILOT

It is a blockchain-enabled SaaS platform that allows the secure and real-time exchange of information and documents, as well as the issuance of maritime certificates between the parties involved (BEE’s- Blockchain Enabled E-Certificates) in the process of authorization and clearance of ships in port (Port Authorities, Maritime Authorities, Marpol Operators, Consignee Agents, Shipowners, Crews, Classification Societies).

The platform also makes it possible to verify the authenticity of shared information, automate processes, report inconsistencies and errors, and benefit from the advantages of distributed networks. The platform can be connected to Single Window systems such as DUEPORT through an API.

COMMERCIAL PROJECT 2.06: VECTIN

Vectin is a system for the inspection and port security control of maritime cargo that allows fast, reliable, efficient and economical container scanning without opening the containers (non-intrusive) and generates an objective result (without the need for interpretation by an operator) in a matter of minutes, allowing the detection of a wide variety of undeclared, illegal or dangerous substances in the transported goods: explosives, weapons, chemical agents, drugs, money and tobacco and any other substance whose vapor pressure is above 10-17 atmospheres.

COMMERCIAL PROJECT 2.07: SIROCOPORTS4.0

This is a robotic and sensor management platform that includes new features in terms of functionality and scalability, as it is an open platform and provides a scalable, modular and widely applicable solution, allowing the functionalities offered to be extended to any of the operations required in the port sector.

It is based on the deployment of sensor and robotic agents (unmanned vehicles) that will obtain information from the port and transmit it to a data management platform where it will be processed to respond to the different indicators defined by a Port Authority.

The solution reduces costs of traditional robotic management systems by providing a tool to third-party developers and implementers of robotic solutions by moving away from a closed and homogeneous solution, incorporating the concept of collective intelligence.

COMMERCIAL PROJECT 2.12: CYBERCOP

Cybercop is an intelligent system of autonomous mobility level 4, in order to design a commercial solution of autonomous robot aimed at the surveillance of the port land area and assistance in case of emergency, and with transport capacity for at least one person, generating those specific functions to adapt the behavior of the robot to the processes of port surveillance and control, as well as to facilitate the interaction with the control centers.

It would have capabilities such as: 4×4 motorization, integrated devices (RADAR, 360º Lidar, computer vision and Deep Learning systems, GPS, 4G connection), interior seat for transporting people, compartments with emergency elements, ability to move in sandy areas and along the seashore.

COMMERCIAL PROJECT 2.13: NASAPP

Nasapp is a SaaS multi-layer data platform that allows monitoring odors in real time through the concept of citizen science or participation, modifying the current tools for measuring odor concentration with field olfactometry, with studies of pollutant dispersion and/or in laboratories using human sensors to estimate the concentration of odors and their dispersion in the territory.

In addition, the platform has back tracking algorithms to locate and contextualize the origin of the odor episode.

It is materialized as an application and a web manager capable of integrating the olfactory sensory perception of citizens in real time in order to act as an early warning system of critical events and environmental monitoring by determining the source, overcoming the limitations of current equipment that do not allow quantifying in situ odor episodes with the accuracy of human smell.

COMMERCIAL PROJECT 2.14: OASIS

It is a comprehensive multi-technology solution combining regenerative biodiversity technology (BioBoosting System – BBS) and data collection technology through sensorized USVs as an IoT platform, cloud computing system and artificial intelligence for the generation of virtual sensors and 3D modeling that behave as Digital Twins.

The objective of the project is to transform gray marine infrastructures into areas rich in biodiversity (marine oases) and at the same time allow their remote and real-time monitoring, visualization and inspection in order to assess their impact in terms of biodiversity generation, CO2 capture, identification of invasive species and improvement of water quality.

COMMERCIAL PROJECT 2.15: 5G RADAR FOR SMART INTERMODAL TRANSPORT

It is a hybridization of the following 5G technologies, high-precision UWB Radar connected to the 5G network, Edge Computing with artificial intelligence algorithms and real-time processing, and Digital Twin, with the aim of offering solutions that will enable a disruptive transformation of maritime and land intermodal transport and mobility in the logistics-port environment, by integrating UWB radar-based sensorics and 5G communications in a single intelligent IIoT device and in particular the following applications: Intelligent assistant for real-time ship docking, Automatic and intelligent control of land and maritime mobility in real time.

COMMERCIAL PROJECT 2.17: STEEL FREE HEAVY PONTOONS

It is a concrete floating pontoon, modular, made of fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) chassis for mooring and berthing of small and medium size vessels.

The use of an easily mountable PRF chassis, which serves as a mounting frame inside the pontoon mold and, at the same time, as structural reinforcement for the concrete, allows achieving higher levels of durability and versatility superior to that of the current concrete pontoons by not having metallic elements in its construction, reducing construction time and costs and improving buoyancy and stability characteristics than aluminum pontoons, its competing technology for small and medium lengths.

The modules have dimensions up to 11.60 x 2.40 m, which allows them to be transported by container, facilitating their commercialization both nationally and internationally.

COMMERCIAL PROJECT 2.19: NOWAVES 4.0

Nowaves presents anti-reflective concrete caissons for maritime works, consisting of chambers with long dissipative circuits of variable paths, suitable for the reduction of agitation produced by waves in harbor docks, improving the effectiveness of Jarlan type structures (ARJ) by improving the capacity for energy absorption in a wide range of wave frequencies, including long wave, through automatic or programmable adaptability of the geometry of the chambers (circuits extending horizontally along different directions of several interconnected cell units without varying the width of the anti-reflection zone) to different incident wave situations by means of mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic devices.

COMMERCIAL PROJECT 2.20: SMART MOBILITY ANALYTICS

It is the development of a system, based on IoT cameras with computer vision and artificial intelligence, capable of monitoring and analyzing passenger flows and means of transport (cabs, VTC, city buses and discretionary traffic) in real time, considering different metrics, and extracting objective data on waiting times, passengers and vehicles and the use made of these spaces within a passenger terminal.

Although it is initially aimed at cruise terminals, providing information to all actors involved in embarkation and disembarkation operations (port and terminal managers, transport and passenger managers) through web and mobile applications, it is easily scalable to other logistics environments.

COMMERCIAL PROJECT 2.36: CLCIRCULAR

CLCircular is a system for monitoring and traceability of cargo transported in a sea container from its point of origin to its destination in real time, including quality parameters (temperature, humidity, shocks), security (door opening detection) and logistics efficiency (geolocation) and, all this in a way that can be decentralized under the umbrella of a public or private blockchain format that guarantees traceability not only based on responsible declarations, but on the physical and unalterable evidence of incorruptible and reusable IoT physical devices through the automation of reverse logistics.

The project includes the development of a new generation of reusable sensors with global connectivity capabilities and the process of automating their reverse logistics from a holistic business point of view.

COMMERCIAL PROJECT 2.37: VRT4PORTS 2022

It is a virtual reality training platform for the logistics-port sector, located in the cloud. The project aims to provide a new, more flexible approach to educational processes based on digitalization and the use of immersive technologies such as virtual reality, which favor an eminently practical, i.e. constructivist, approach to learning.

The tool will have a modular architecture based on Cloud services, incorporating mechanisms to optimize the performance of virtual environments for integration with low-cost devices.
