The company ARCTIC SEA S.L., responsible for the CLCIRCULAR project (INVERSE LOGISTICS OF IoT SENSORS FOR REAL-TIME MONITORING OF GOODS IN MARITIME CONTAINERS), subsidized by the Ports 4.0 Fund of Puertos del Estado, has carried out the final demonstration of the project in its own facilities. The test was attended by representatives of Ports 4.0 of Puertos del Estado, as well as of the Port Authority of Bilbao.

The objective of the project was to develop and commercialize a real-time monitoring system with reverse logistics sensors, and thus generate a significant positive impact on the reduction of losses of food and other products of all kinds, for the agents of the logistics-port community and supply chains in general.

The CLCIRCULAR solution consists of a sensor that travels inside shipping containers and a cloud platform where the data is dumped, as well as a reverse logistics and sensor reuse system.

Throughout the development of the project, ARCTIC SEA has managed to automate the reverse logistics process, developing a new platform and implementing technological advances in the sensors that travel inside the sea containers.

After the presentation on the characteristics and particularities of the project implementation, a demonstration of the CLCIRCULAR solution was carried out. In this demonstration, fundamental elements of the project were tested, such as the operation of the platform and the sensors themselves.

Finally, the sensor management and sensor recovery systems, as well as the warehouse and workshop at ARCTIC SEA’s facilities have been tested.

Proyecto PERSEOSensia Solutions and ValenciaPort Foundation, beneficiary companies of the Ports 4.0 grants, carry out the final demonstration of the PERSEO project in the port of Valencia.
