The company AAC CENTRO DE ACÚSTICA APLICADA, responsible for the project “NOISEPORT”, subsidized by the Ports 4.0 Fund of Puertos del Estado, has carried out the final demonstration of the project that has been carried out in the facilities of the Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The test was attended by innovation managers from Puertos del Estado, innovation and environment managers from the Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and the project managers from ACC. The project facilitators were the Port Authority of Bilbao and the Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The objective of the project is to develop an integrated system for intelligent and continuous monitoring of environmental noise caused by the different operations in the port areas, which identifies its causes and, through the application of advanced computer models, responds to the growing needs of evaluation and effective management of this variable in the ports.
The ACC team has explained the characteristics of the project execution, showing in detail the different tests that have been developed both in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Bilbao.
The demonstration was carried out in real time and was performed with remote equipment placed in the vicinity of AAC’s facilities. In this way, it has been possible to check the process live, from the measurements to obtaining the results and their representation on the platform.
