The commercial project-198 “Transport with drones in logistic-port operations”, of the company AIRMEDIA360, performs its final technical test in the port of Las Palmas.
The test consisted of flights between land and a ship with loads of up to 12 kilos and distances of one kilometer.
The drone successfully accomplished the goal of carrying 12-kilogram loads on flights from land to the deck of a ship, both in manual mode and autonomously.
Takeoffs and flights of up to one kilometer total distance and landings were performed, in manual and autonomous modes, with loads of 12 kilograms to a Naviera Armas ship.
The final technical tests of the project were attended by representatives of Puertos del Estado, the Port Authority of Las Palmas, Asocelpa and Naviera Armas/Trasmediterránea.
