The test was attended by the Head of Innovation and the Head of Monitoring of Innovation Projects of Puertos del Estado, the project managers from GEOMODEL, together with those responsible for the Port Authority of Barcelona. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload  wp-image-5572 aligncenter\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns%3D%27http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg%27%20width%3D%27728%27%20height%3D%27410%27%20viewBox%3D%270%200%20728%20410%27%3E%3Crect%20width%3D%27728%27%20height%3D%27410%27%20fill-opacity%3D%220%22%2F%3E%3C%2Fsvg%3E\" data-orig-src=\"https:\/\/ports40.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/geomodel.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"728\" height=\"410\"><\/p>\n<p>CLEVER VOLUME consists of a volumetric measurement system based on LiDAR technology for the control of MARPOL V waste. Its SaaS solution allows the volumetric calculation of solid waste in trucks after unloading from cruise ships and other vessels. Throughout the project, the prototype has evolved with improvements to the scanning device in weight, size and ease of installation.
