The commercial project 290 “POSIDONIA Port CDM”, of the company PRODEVELOP, performs its final technical demonstration in a real operational environment, in the port of Algeciras.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Posidonia Port CDM (Collaborative Decision Making) Project, of the company Prodevelop, is an innovative project, subsidized by the Ports 4.0 Fund of Puertos del Estado and supported by the Port Authority of the Bay of Algeciras.<\/p>\n

Posidonia Port CDM<\/a> is a tool that allows the exchange of information on port calls and vessel operations in real time between the different agents of the Port Community (terminals, Port Authority, shipping companies) allowing all the agents involved to handle the same information and enabling collaborative decision making based on data (CDM concept, Collaborative Decision Making). The ultimate goal of this type of tools is to optimize ship calls to the maximum, reducing downtime, as well as reducing the volume of manual communications between the actors involved, such as phone calls or e-mails. <\/p>\n

The Posidonia Port CDM tool is essential for the exchange of information on port calls and vessel operations in real time. This interaction, involving various port stakeholders, aims to optimize vessel calls, reduce inefficiencies and improve communication between stakeholders. <\/p>\n

The Posidonia Port CDM solution complies with international standards, guaranteeing its validity on a global scale. From a technological point of view, the solution is in the cloud and its interface facilitates real-time monitoring of port calls and related operations, offering, in addition, automatic performance metrics. <\/p>\n

The project has been successfully completed and has burst onto the market, and has already been implemented in other Spanish and Latin American ports, such as Las Palmas and L\u00e1zaro C\u00e1rdenas, in Mexico.<\/p>\n
